Bed & Breakfast Rates

The guest lodge at SFR is the original log ranch house with five guest rooms each with private bath. Guests enjoy a living room with river rock fireplace, sun porch, kitchenette, sitting room(also with fireplace) and a covered porch for watching the sunset in the mountains. Each room has mountain views.

Accommodations per night:

Guest Lodge Rooms $225.00 per night. West Elk Suite $250.00 per night

Saddle Mountain ~ Queen- size bed. Private bath with tub and shower. Occupancy 2 pers.

Mendicant Ridge ~ King size or two twin beds. Private bath with shower. Occupancy 2 pers.

Needle Rock ~ King size or two twin beds. Private bath with shower. Occupancy 2 pers.

Sleeping Indian ~ Queen size bed. Private bath with tub and shower. Occupancy 2 pers. (can accommodate crib or daybed)

West Elk Suite ~ California king size bed. Comfortable sitting area. Private bath with shower. Occupancy 2 pers. (can accommodate third adult or child, $75 per night)

Rates include lodging and full gourmet breakfast, use of ranch facilities and amenities: hot tub, historic Old Elk Lodge with wood burning stone fireplace, satellite TV, wireless internet, billiards, snooker and fly tying table, game room with foos ball ,ping pong table, and fitness center.

SFR offers a fully stocked bar and extensive wine cellar and pure mountain spring water. (alcohol extra) The ranch is surrounded by hundreds of miles of hiking, biking and riding trails in the Gunnison National Forest and the West Elk Wilderness.

There are several excellent restaurants in the nearby towns of Hotchkiss and Paonia. Off ranch activities include: local wine tasting and tours, glass blowing shop, gallery shopping in nearby towns, Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, and the West Elk Scenic Loop.

Ala carte meals and activities:

• 4 course gourmet dinner prepared by our chef (three days advance notice needed) $70.00 per person
• Picnic basket (24 hr. advance notice) $20.00 per person.
• Hunting from the ranch $250.00 per day per hunter
• Fishing on the ranch’s stocked ponds and private stream. Catch and release, fly fishing only. $100.00 per rod per day
• Horseback riding $100.00 1/2 day ,$150.00 full day per person (subject to availability)
