Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in luxury hotel settings.

  • Proficiency in the use of high-quality cleaning eco-friendly products and knowledge of effective cleaning techniques.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.

  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently.

  • Leadership experience or qualities, with the ability to oversee and guide a housekeeping team.

  • Willingness to go above and beyond to create an exceptional guest stay.

  • Familiarity with and understanding of luxury hospitality standards and expectations.

  • A guest-centric mindset with a passion for creating exceptional experiences and spaces.

  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members, other departments and address guest needs.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities to address any challenges or issues that may arise in housekeeping operations.

  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and a flexible approach to meet the dynamic needs of our luxury property. This could include helping in other departments and flexibility in schedule. 

  • Exhibits a strong desire to maintain consistency in cleaning standards across the entire property.

  • Possess a strong team-oriented mindset, actively contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Manage, lead and oversee the housekeeping team to ensure optimal performance.

  • Hire, train and supervise housekeeping staff including scheduling shifts and assigning cleaning tasks to ensure efficient operations.

  • Provide training and ongoing support to team members, fostering skill development and a cohesive work environment.

  • Ensure guest accommodations and public spaces  are prepared and guest-ready prior to guest arrival while upholding meticulous cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the property.

  • Create and Manage schedule and assign housekeepers 

  • Regularly inspect and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and amenities.

  • Manage housekeeping budget within specified guidelines.

  • Ensure confidentiality of guest information and internal operations.

  • Address and fulfill guest requests promptly with a high level of service.

  • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure consistency in the cleanliness of all accommodations and public spaces.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

  • Report maintenance issues and work collaboratively to resolve them.

  • Foster a positive work environment and maintain staff morale.

  • Contribute to the overall aesthetics of the property through creative and thoughtful housekeeping arrangements.

  • Address and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise in housekeeping operations.

  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations. 

  • Maintain, follow and update all  housekeeping SOPs for the entire property.

Compensation: $60,000-$70,000/year  DOE. Housing negotiable.
